Need a basic cluster set up so we can do a trial on the Jenkins system: * One Linux VM we can set up with apache/Jenkins. Whatever you did for us MPT is fine here. * One vanilla (basic OS install) test slave system each of the following: - Windows 2000 - Windows XP - Windows Vista - Windows 7 (32) - Windows 7 (64) - Ubuntu (32) - Ubuntu (64) - Mac OS X 10.5 - Mac OS X 10.6 - Mac OS X 10.7 The intent is to match what we're doing elsewhere. If the OS lineup I've given doesn't match current reality, my lineup is what's wrong. For Ubuntu test slaves, whatever version we're currently testing against is fine. If we're testing against multiple versions, it's OK for now to just give us the latest one (11.10?) For Mac OS X, 10.5 is less important than 10.6 and 10.7 to the point I'd consider it optional for this exercise. Dave, if I need to be corrected in any way on this, please do not hesitate.
Control (Master) Jenkins Ubuntu VM is at 10.250.73.249. I'm configuring the other machines right now.
VNC is blocked on Win7 and Vista for some reason. I'm seeing widespread reports of issues with that on the net. So I'm configuring Win7 and Vista machines to use Remote Desktop. You'll need an RDP client for them. Jenkins XP: 10.250.73.241 - running VNC Jenkins Win7 x64: 10.250.73.243 - running Remote Desktop (VNC is currently blocked) Jenkins Vista: 10.250.73.240 - running Remote Desktop (VNC is currently blocked)
Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit: 10.250.73.250 - Running VNC Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit: 10.250.73.248 - Running VNC Win 7 Pro 32-bit: 10.250.73.247 - Running Remote Desktop Windows 2000: 10.250.73.252 - Running VNC
OS X 10.6: release1-osx-106.qa.mtv1.mozilla.com, username is 'qa'.
