Steps to reproduce:

Step 1:
Ctrl+Shift+Del 

Step2:
Clear Now


Actual results:

Firefox Stopped Responding for few seconds.


Expected results:

I should have responded properly by showing a busy Icon on the mouse.

RAM: 2 GB
CPU: Intel core2Duo 2.8 GHz

You can try disabling cache and cookies from the advanced part of the dialog and see which of the 2 blocks.

If it's cookies, that's mostly due to the time needed to clear plug-ins data, you may uninstall some of the plug-ins you don't use. In this case this is a dupe of bug 633427.

If it's the cache instead, then this is a dupe of bug 648232.
