User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
Build ID: 20111104165243

Steps to reproduce:

Platform: Windows 7 x64 SP1
Processor: Intel Core i7
RAM: 12 gig
NOTE: For more platform information see fig 3.0 - Steam(tm) system info dump.

Fatal failure caused by visiting the URI: http://xepisodes.com/south-park/

Actual results:

Summary: The browser locks up (See fig 1.0). The application fails to respond and needs to be terminated via the task manger (See fig 4.0). Subsequently the application will restart attempting to re-open previously terminated tabs, however the browser will remain 'searching' (attempting to connect to the target tabs' URI) forever. A further process termination and restart is required to get the application functioning properly again.

Steps to replicate:

1) Visit the URI http://xepisodes.com/south-park/

Addon installed (See fig 2.0):

- Firebug 1.8.4 (ENABLED)
- Greasemonkey 0.9.13 (ENABLED)
- Web Developer 1.1.9 (ENABLED)
- EventBug 0.1b9 *DISABLED*
- Flashblock 1.5.15.1 *DISABLED*
- Java Console 6.0.29 *DISABLED*

Expected results:

The URI should be displayed. This was the case in previous Firefox versions, and is the case in competing browser platforms notably IE9.

The issue appears intermittently when browsing the web and subjectively appears caused by certain flash based popups.
