Mozilla URL bar sure is annoying. There is not much more to say.
I'll be very happy with a standard textbox.
Reporter, I think you'll have to explain what *exactly* is the problem with the
URL bar.  "Annoying" is too subjective for the developers to fix.
It has less features than the standatd windows textbox, that's all.

a. drop down can't be resized
b. i can't delete the selected element in drop down by typing <del>
c. this bug ammounts to an enhancement request, even though the reporter did an 
awful job, as such it should never be marked invalid.
mass-verifying Invalid bugs which haven't changed since 2001-12-31.
