To better track mobile conversions, we're implementing an interstitial page with a Webtrends tracking tag before it hits the Android Market. So for example when users click on our green download button on /mobile, they will be brought to this interstitial page before (hopefully) being quickly redirected to the Android Market for download.
The page should be kept simple: copy + Firefox logo perhaps? Since this page will flash quickly, we shouldn't have too much content. Maybe a simple footer or direct link to the Android Market at the bottom in case the page gets stuck.
Copy is coming - will be messaged around "in progress" or "you are now being directed to the Android Market"
Deadline: Dec 16 (sooner the better)
Thank you! Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks Jaclyn.
I think this page should be pretty simple and straight forward. I see as more of an "hour glass" in progress status type of page, vs. a page with real content... since the main goal is for people to seamlessly connect to the Android Market vs. land here. So, if they've landed here with enough time to actually read the page... it should let them know that they're being connected / redirected to the page they intended to be on. Kind of like Amazon or other sites (can't remember it right now) that give you a "hey, we're sending you to xyz..." type of message when you're being redirected to a different property.
Timing is pretty tight :) but it's a simple page... it may not even require a mockup if we go with copy only.
John / Sean... what are your thoughts?
Assigning to Ty for now... I can re-assign as needed.

Per comments #11 and #12 in bug 708791, I'd like to confirm that this is definitely necessary before we proceed.
False alarm - we won't need the page design anymore :) A blank page will do fine!
Thanks!
