Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.25) Gecko/20111212 Firefox/3.6.25 Outdated plug-ins notification bar doesn't appear when an older plugin is installed. Steps to reproduce: 1.Install an outdated plugin that you know has a more newer version available. (eg. Quick time 7.5) 2.Go to a site that utilized that plugin (eg. http://www.apple.com/trailers) 3.Play a movie Actual results: No notification appears only a message from the site (eg. http://www.apple.com/trailers) that an older version is installed. Firefox notification does not appear. Expected results: A notification message pops down saying "Some plugins used by this page are out of date." A button to the right points to "Update Plugins..." and clicking it will take you to the mozilla.com plugin check page.
What Litmus case is this? I see no difference in behavior between 3.6.24 and 3.6.25 when I test with Quicktime 7.5 and Apple's trailers site.
Resolving old bugs which are likely not relevant any more, since NPAPI plugins are deprecated.
