Several weeks ago I tried to update Firefox to the newest version which I think was 3.6. I reported the following issues and have never received a reply. The instalation process went through the normal stages including removal of my previous FireFox version. When I was told to restart my computer to complete the process several things happend. First I receioved an Application Error that said; The system cannot end the task because CB45 is not allowing it to run. Press OK to End Task CB45 or Cancel to leave it running. I pressed OK and received the next Message. The request to end the selected 16Bit task has timed out. The Win 16 Subsystem may be unstable. Press OK to terminate Subsystem or Cancel to leave it running. I pressed Ok. I then tried to start Firefox and now I am told the computer has to be restarted to complete the previous process. I restart my computer but evidentally it doesn,t complete the process because whenever I try to start FireFox I receive the same message. Since then a new message came up which said CPQEADM Easy Acess Button Software is missing a component. Please reinstall the Easy Acess Button Software. The last things I did just previous to this problem is I uninstalled BitDefender and installed AVG. I then tried to update Firefox and here I am without Firefox. I can't acess the old version or the new version. I tried to uninstall Firefox and get the same message about the restart. Hope you can help as I hate using Internet Explorer. Sincerely, David A Degnitz
