User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Build ID: 20111104165243 Steps to reproduce: I logged into Thunderbird and let it download POP mail normally. While it was doing that, I noticed it had put something in Trash (presumably junk) and went there to look at it. Actual results: I got repeated pop-ups saying there is an error appending to folder INBOX, and I should try deleting the .msf file. (I've seen this happen from other causes too, and it's not always the same folder.) Expected results: No message, no interruptions by pop-ups, especially no repeated ones.
How big is your Inbox folder exactly? Are you using FAT16/FAT32/NTFS/network storage?
