I tried reducing this but failed to make headway.

I still get stack overflow crashes on Debug Beta/39, Aurora/40 on Windows but with different signatures but don't crash with opt Firefox 37, Beta/39, Aurora/40 or Nightly/41.
This has gotten exactly zero traction in 3.5 years -> WONTFIX
