Navin, did you mean netscape.test ?  I successfully posted there, with

 might this be a debug only issue? build 2001030804, Windows 2000.

No crash for me posting to netscape.public.test (on news.mcom.com) with build
2001030804, Windows 2000.  Can you also get an optimized build and try this?
