71214 - Scrollbar: bottom part of the thumb appears displaced

1. Open a website (say Mozilla.org) in the browser.
2. Reduce the size of the browsing window.
3. Move the scrollbar down, slowly (by clicking on the arrow).
4. If the dimensions of the window are right, then you'll notice the bottom part
of the thumb appears "displaced", as though the rear layer had been stretched
further than the upper layer.

It may take a while to get the correct window dimensions for that bug to occur.
It happens, trust me. Also, the same thing occurs sideways as well, with the
stretching appearing towards the right.

This bug occurs on Linux (2.2.16 and 18) and also on Windows 98 SE.

Which skin are you using? I can't confirm this on Linux/2k1-03-07-08 with Orbit 2.

Verified with build 2001030704 (grabbed this morning), Modern Theme.
Still occurs. GD

Now that I think about it, I did see this behavior before. I was using
modern-mozillum theme at the time and the thumb did behave weirdly, leaving
ghost images around it. However, I don't see this occuring with orbit-2 theme,
which makes me wonder whether this really is a XUL/CSS bug.

That screenshot makes this a dup of bug 70786.  Gilles Doyen, is that the
problem you are seeing?
