"You assume that the default state of the navigation bar is uncollapsed, and therefore uncollapse it whenever you leave an app tab. This is an invalid assumption. You need to change the way that you're handling this by either using a custom attribute or class which adds a visibility:collapse style or hooks into the existing XULBrowserWindow.inContentWhitelist machinery"
