If you go to anandtech.com...there is a section in the top right corner called,
 Web News.

If you run your mouse over the menu choices it highlights it in blue, however
its only suppose to highlight the choice your mouse pointer is on top off.
Instead, mozilla leaves the blue color on the choices you moved the pointer
across previously.

my build is the Release 0.8 of Mozilla.
Confirm on Linux-2.2.16 build 2k1-03-06-08. Looks like onmouseouts don't fire
half the time. Not related to quirks mode -- this bug occurs whatever the DTD.
Testcase follows.
Summary: Error in Menu choice highlighting → Error in Menu choice highlighting
Able to reproduce in the March 21 build.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Moving to m1.0
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Target Milestone: --- → mozilla1.0
This seems to be a dup of bug 60987 related to bug 77995 and bug 78416

Jake
This seems to be working correctly now (both the website and the testcase),
Win98 build 2001060220.

Someone please confirm...?
Also fixed for me on Win2K 2001060409. Maybe solved by Hyatt's CSS performance
checkin?
Works for me.
4 hour old CVS build, Linux.
WFM also, 2001102603
