User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: In Firefox 9 the load indicator is no longer red during page load. If you use only one tab, the only indicator that a page is still loading is, that a cross instead of a circle is shown. This is in my opinion a regression compared to Firefox 8.
The load indicator is not shown anymore in the location bar (but it is in the tab). You now see a reload button when the page is idle, or a stop button during load. And they're both grey.
(In reply to Jo Hermans from comment #1) > The load indicator is not shown anymore in the location bar (but it is in > the tab). You now see a reload button when the page is idle, or a stop > button during load. And they're both grey. Yes, that's exactly what I meant. If you use only one tab you now have no load indicator anymore. Before the stop button was red which is much easier to recognize than just different small symbol. You can recognize a color from the corner of one's eye, a symbol (circle, cross) only by looking directly at the button. That's the reason why I'm talking about a regression. What's the reason for this change?
One addition to make my point clearer: the problem occurs if you use one tab and no tab bar is shown (disabled in the preferences).
