Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Ubuntu; X11; Linux x86_64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111221202647

Steps to reproduce:

Run the newspaper reading software. There is a sample at

http://ee.usatoday.com/sample/

Actual results:

Does not display the newspaper page as it should. Gui seems to hang.

Expected results:

Should have displayed the newspaper in right hand box.

This works properly in chromium on same Linux platform (Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit). The Flash plugin works properly in Firefox other than its connection with the Olive software.
This seems to be linux only. This is wfm with Seamonkey trunk on win32.

Yes, this doesn't work on Linux, although it works for other platforms.

I get some deprecated warnings in the Error Console, but no errors:

Timestamp: 01/26/2012 02:54:59 PM
Warning: Use of enablePrivilege is deprecated. Please use code that runs with the system principal (e.g. an extension) instead.

That first part part is expected.

The second part looks like a plug-ins issue.

Resolving old bugs which are likely not relevant any more, since NPAPI plugins are deprecated.
