I was running the 20111222 nightly build which was crashing, and updated to the 20111223 build and Fennec continues to crash. Unfortunately since it crashes on about:crashes page I haven't been able to harvest my crash reports yet.

Phone is HTC Evo running Android Version 2.3.3.

I will try to look in crash stats and see if I can map my device to my crash.

I switched over to Aurora and got this crash when loading a page: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-f298f898-5deb-4e62-a7af-adf772111224. Have not been able to reproduce the crash on Aurora.

Judging from what I see in crash stats others are seeing this crash as well - https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=libxul.so@0xaf174c shows up on the trunk and https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=libxul.so@0xaec3c8 on Aurora.

Marcia, please note that you can get your crash report ID's from using adb shell to look in your profile directory on the phone.

I don't understand that. Do you or don't you see the crash on Aurora? ("switched over to Aurora and got this crash" seems to contradict "Have not been able to reproduce the crash on Aurora"). The patch identified in bug 713299 as the culprit hasn't made its way to Aurora yet.

Sorry to not be clear. Since nightly was crashing continuously I switched over to running Aurora and hit the crash listed in Comment 1 - but as you say the patch in Bug 713299 should fix it when it lands in Aurora so I guess all is good.

Thanks for the tip about where to get the crash reports.
