Expected results:

This is most likely a result of bug 696020.
And bug 713205.

I am somewhat bemused by the fact that a bug that was likely to case so much bad press was knowingly left in the 9.0 branch.

Still, happy Christmas Bug Zappers. Since I compile my own is there a pre release that has this lot fixed? Or should I go back to V8?
If you switch to the Beta branch, you'll get a stable preview of what will be FF 10 in six weeks' time. There's talk of potentially releasing another update of 9 that will fix this as well.
Marking as a duplicate for now; could you test a Beta build from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/ and reopen if it isn't fixed there?
