The radial-gradient background at
http://taskjs.org
looks blocky in Fennec Native. At some point when I reopened Fennec, I noticed it looked beautiful (way better than the stock browser!) but I haven't been able to figure out when it looks good and when it looks bad.

Ah -- if you scroll it into view, it's blocky, but if you zoom and and zoom back out again, it resolves itself and looks smooth.

I don't see this in Maple, can this be retested with a Maple build? Are we still interested in fixing this in m-c, before Maple?

I can get the blockiness sometimes on a Galaxy Nexus.

Maple currently arbitrarily uses 32bit vs. 16bit (bug 733607). It could be that this is bad when we're using 16bit and we don't dither. If this is the case then we have no plans to fix this for fennec 1.0

Going on comment #4, this isn't something that I'll be working on at any point soon - reassigning.
