Details
Firefox process takes most of the CPU time, and there radial_compute_color is high in the profile. Xorg takes also quite a bit time. Could we optimize Xorg usage?

bits_image_fetch_general is also high in the profile.

FWIW, performance on Win7 is generally pretty decent and comparable to Chrome. There are a few hitches here and there, though. Dunno if they're from GC/CC or something else.

This is about the performance on linux (where Chrome is smoother but has some painting problems)

Very smooth in Nightly. And cpu use isn't high.
