Steps to reproduce:

Hello there,
In my SM-2.4.1, the advanced address book search is broken. The search window has an empty rules list; by clicking 'Clear', I managed to have a rule line show up, but its drop down menu boxes are empty.

1. Open the address book window (CTRL+5)
2. Go to 'Tools'
3. Launch 'Search addresses'



Actual results:

4. The advanced search window has an empty rules list
5. [Mad monkey session]... Click 'Clear': a rule line appears, but all drop down menu boxes are empty! 

Search impossible :-(

p.s. I use gContactSync.


Expected results:

4. The advanced search window should have a default rule line
5. Drop down menu boxes should show multiple choices

Possibly related to bug 674462.

Please retest in SeaMonkey safe-mode: Help->Restart with Addons Disabled.

Did that, the problem persists.

Tools -> Web Development -> Error Console
Clear all messages.
Open the advanced address book search window.
Check the Error Console again.
Any error messages related to address book search?

Got this:

This bit of code seems to have been rewritten by 2.7b2 so this bug may be fixed.
Please try the latest SeaMonkey 2.7b2:

I'll do it, as soon as 2.7 enters the Gentoo testing tree. It should be a matter of days.
