In the URL bar, while a user types, apart from searching for matches from history (1st priority), it should also give suggestions about websites having that string.
For e.g. worldworldworld.net, if a user types in worldworld, FF should search the Internet for a website with a similar name and suggest it.

Currently, the locationbar only autocompletes against the bookmarks & history, it doesn't use the Google autocomplete like the one that you can see in the searchbar.
It's probably a duplicate form an existing bug, where the same functionality is asked as in Chrome (where the locationbar and searchbar are one).
I did not find any duplicates however.
Actually this's a bit different, Chromium gives back Google suggestions, but I suggest websites only.

How do you suggest we get a list of common web site?
We could use a third party web service, but not without sending the URL that you're typing to them, which is rather privacy invasive. Given that, I don't think we can reasonably implement this.
