Hi Laura F and Brad,
I am helping Laura Mesa with preparing the assets for the 3.6 Upgrade Campaign.
We will be using the following landing pages:
Copy: How fast is your Firefox? Check our speedometer. would link to http://mozilla.org/firefox/speed
Copy: Surf up to 7 times faster. Upgrade your Firefox. would link to http://mozilla.org/firefox/speed
Copy: Be fast, flexible, secure. Upgrade your Firefox. would link to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Copy: Get the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade now! would link to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
I have also created the Webtrends Id's (see excel attachment)
We also have a click per download effort and would need a custom report to track this campaign.
The following landing pages also have a thank you page after download.
Please review and let me know if you need any additional info.
It would be great if we can have this set up end of week (latest Monday of next week).
Thanks!

Hi Grace -
I'd be happy to help train you on how to track and measure the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns.
In this case, it sounds like you're doing some sort of ad spend, and want to measure how that spend converts users to Firefox Downloads.
If that's the case, please use standard marketing tags (as you mentioned you are), and the "Campaign Conversion" report.
There's no need to create custom reporting for this that I can see. For all campaigns like this in the future, these same steps would be followed.
Give this a read for more info: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Lforrest#Q:_How_many_downloads.2Fhow_much_traffic_did_my_marketing_campaign_get.3F

Hi Laura,
Normally, we wouldn't need a custom report. However, due to legal limitations, we are unable to add the agencies' pixel to track download. This means, Ec1 will need a custom report tacking download just for this campaign for billing and operational purposes.
(similar to what we did for aurora)
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks!

I added the following report to the Mozilla/firefox profile:
Firefox 3.6 Upgrade Marketing Campaign
It is filtered to use WT.mc_id=fxup*

Note that none of what you mentioned above requires a custom report to track. EC1, or whoever wants too, will still be able to find their campaign within the main Campaign Conversion report. A new custom report like Brad created above will help, but is not required.
Since we have a limited amount of Brad's time, and to help us scale better I do not recommend creating a custom report for each campaign we launch in the future.
