Prerequisites: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Steps to reproduce: 1.Go to AMO homepage (https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/) 2.Go to Themes section and open LavaFox V1 theme(observe that this theme is not marked as incompatible with FF 9.0.1) 3.Click "Add to Firefox" button 4.Click "Allow" button on the warning message from top left side of the screen Expected results: LavaFox theme is installed without any issue. Actual results: A message saying that "Lava fox could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 9.0.1" is displayed and the theme is not installed. Please see attached screenshot.
This bug is not related only to Lava Fox theme. I found many applications with this issue. You can see a screencast for another application below: http://screencast.com/t/OaVi5kuaw
Component: Public Pages → Add-ons Manager
Product: addons.mozilla.org → Toolkit
QA Contact: web-ui → add-ons.manager
I can't reproduce this with LavaFox V1, can you still reproduce with that? I notice you're using the addons-dev site, did you also update extensions.update.url in your firefox to point there?
