1. go to espn.com
2. click on the video
3. hit cancel for the "Launch Application: This link needs to be opened with an application"
Expected: still at espn.com for mobile
Actual : http://wdigespmms.rd.llnwd.net/espnvideo/2012/0105/dm_120105_ncf_pennstate_obrien.mp4?t=/ad/ncf/sportscenter/
with a blank page.

aaron, why isn't it? does the same thing happen if you change your UA to fennec's and go there with Firefox desktop?

"Launch application" is a dialog from Firefox itself - right? If so, I agree that this is not a Tech Evangelism issue. Whether or not Firefox should follow the link when the dialog is cancelled is a UI question.

All of the videos on espn.com now open in Firefox negating the need for the dialog. I'm resolving this as works for me.

Just to be clear, I tried all of the videos on the home page. (There are 5.) I did not spend all afternoon watching baseball, football and tennis highlights. :)
