RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 589759

People

(Reporter: mike.sorice, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111220165912

Steps to reproduce:

Launched Thunderbird (9.0.1) under Mac OS X (10.7.) Didn't enter master password quickly, say within 10 minutes; Thunderbird launches with login not on the main desktop, so this happens somewhat frequently. Then, entered master password.

Actual results:

Thunderbird locked up - basically totally non-responsive, but no crash. Can't read mail or do anything else. Thunderbird won't close except by kill/Force Quit.

N.B. there was a second master password box under the one into which I entered, so perhaps multiple conflicting master password prompts are the origin of this issue, but this is not the same as the existing "Multiple master password boxes"-type bugs (no NNTP accounts, for one.)

Expected results:

Thunderbird should accept the password and work as usual!
