Hey Milos,

Placeholder for the localized text for Firefox 10 Beta What's New tab - I will add the final copy by Jan 10. 

Locales: ko, it, pt, fr, cs, nl, ru, zh-TW, es, ja, de, pl 

Locales must be complete by Jan 31.

Sorry for the delay! There were/are some features that are still in question.

For the time being, let's go with this:

1) Redesigned user interface 
2) Significant performance advancements  
3) Flash support (Android 2.2-2.3 devices only) 
4) New about:home start page 
5) More: www.mozilla.org/mobile/11.0beta/releasenotes/

P1 locales: ko, ja, de, fr

Just pinged our awesome localizers in dev.l10n.web and asked them to note us here once they're done.
I think the German translation was done two days ago. Just fixed a small typo: r100178.
fixed in r100179 for ko locale.
BTW, ko locale has been not included in firefox mobile. It have to do this first.
Japanese (ja): done in r100180.
OS: Mac OS X → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Strings for zh-TW was committed as r100181.
French (fr) commited as r100188
Russian (ru) commited as r100192
Italian (it) done in r100201
Dutch (nl): done in r100208
Czech (cs) done, r100239

We still need Polish(pl) and Portuguese(pt-PT). CCing relevant people.
We're still missing these 2. CCing Goofy, our French localizer.

is there still a point in resolving this one, ie. getting pt-PT locale done?
is pt-PT not expected for the beta release?
We have some updates to the copy, but will only need updated localizations for ru, de, fr (those are the only languages Beta will be available in at time of release). The additional line of copy is #5: 

1) Redesigned user interface 
2) Significant performance advancements  
3) Flash support (Android 2.2-2.3 devices only) 
4) New about:home start page 
5) Updated minimum system requirements to Android 2.2+ for optimized experience
6) More: www.mozilla.org/mobile/11.0beta/releasenotes


Beta is releasing (expected May 10), would like to finish this by May 8.
