Details

(Whiteboard: [testday-20120106] [VKB])

1. go to http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/jsprompt.html
2. click on the textbox that states "Say my name"

Expected: VKB appears since the prompt has a cursor in it
Actual: you have to click in the JS prompt text box in order to get the VKB to appear.

Should this bring up the keyboard? I tried in stock Android browser and don't see a keyboard. Should we?

No, we should not. The Android default is to let the user tap the edit box to make the VKB appear. The dialog is fully in view when opened, but might become partially hidden when the VKB appears.

On tablet the VKB appears when choosing to create a new task on http://vingtetun.org/todo/.
On phone the user has to tap the edit box to make the VKB appear.
I think that the behavior should be consistent: the keyboard should be displayed on all devices.
