User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111220165912

Steps to reproduce:

Opened a series of email composition windows. Reduce them all (including the TB client) in the task bar of MS Windows XP SP3.

Actual results:

Email count in the task bar (small number left to "Moz TB") is n+1 instead of n!

Expected results:

Email count should have been n!

Maybe this is specific to Windows as I don't have it in Linux:
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:9.0) Gecko/20111222 Thunderbird/9.0.1
Application Build ID: 20111222141531
Thanks Hashem! Let's wait for a feedback from a MS Windows user...
The new message count and notification code is currently implemented per-platform, so it's not surprising that this shows only on Windows.

I've marked this to depend on bug 715799, the shared implementation that is intended to clear up all these inconsistencies.
Depends on: 715799
Thanks Irving for your help!
