The About nightly page often paints just the portion up to the end of the Check for Updates bar omitting the logo icon and leaving the right part of the screen checkerboarded.  I am seeing this on a Samsung galaxy tab 8.9.

not sure how something reported as being intermittent can be resolved woksforme.

REOPENING

Steps to reproduce.

1.  launch nightly native android build
2.  go to settings -> about nightly
3.  switch back to tab containing start page leaving about in a background tab
4.  go to settings -> About nightly again

This ill open about nightly in a second tab that will exhibit the issue.

Actually it appears this switches to the already open tab and replaces the right part of the screen with the checkerboarding.

This might be related to the crash issue I mentioned in bug 713580 comment 6.
