The subject in my gmail doesn't let me select the entire word. So I looked at HTML for it: <h1>Produktion <wbr></wbr> sbekræftel</h1> so when you double click on header I select only "sbekræftel" or "Produktion" and not the entire word couldn't Firefox be made into selecting the entire text if the tag in the middel is empty? using nightly build

Component: Editor → Selection
QA Contact: editor → selection
Steps to reproduce: Please open "testcase.html" file and double click on the first word (longest) Actual results: It selects only fragment of word. Expected results: It should have selected whole word.

Non-text frame always resets context in nsIFrame::PeekOffsetWord()
:
https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/76b13c585e575cf273fd05ab3b48a1532c1d1faa/layout/generic/nsIFrame.cpp#9361-9362
Then, next text node thinks that a new word starts/ends from its edge.
https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/76b13c585e575cf273fd05ab3b48a1532c1d1faa/layout/generic/nsTextFrame.cpp#8180,8191

Therefore, empty element is treated as a word separator.
