User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20120105 Firefox/9.0.1 PaleMoon/9.0.1
Build ID: 20120105111057

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to create a new thread or conversation (pm) in a forum that is running XenForo forum software.

Actual results:

The message box in which you type your post does not display, so you cannot write a message or post.

Expected results:

A message box should have displayed in which you can type your post or conversation (pm). Since there is no message box, you cannot start a new thread or conversation on XenForo forums while using Firefox 9.x.

Do you have a public URL for testing ?
Have you already tried http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode to be sure that this isn't cause by an extension ?

Any forums I know of you would have to register for to be able to create a thread there. Some say it is fixed by forum updates, but for other it pertains. So it is hard to tell if it is Firefox causing the issue, or if it is XenForo. Nonetheless, the issue does not occur on any older version of Firefox, nor on Chrome, nor on IE. Only on Firefox 9.x.

Yes I tried Firefox in safe mode but the same thing happens.
There is not much that we could do without a testcase.
Finding a regression range could help but you usually still need a testcase.

That it's only broken in FF9 doesn't mean that it's a bug. Many webpages use User Agent sniffing and updating some features in Gecko/Firefox to match a (changed) specification could cause such issues.
I sent you an email with some more information, hopefully it will help you.
I can see the problem with Firefox9.0.1 but it works with Seamonkey trunk or Firefox nightlys. It's either already fixed or bad UA sniffing.
Reporter: Is this now fixed with Firefox12 ?
Yes, it has been fixed since FF10 (and Pale Moon 11, btw). Thanks!
