> ISC provides hosting for a Mozilla server, 204.152.184.196 rDNS isc-sfo2-01.mozilla.org. We need to renumber this box to a new netblock, and move it to a new VLAN in the process. > The new address is 149.20.36.135, netmask 255.255.255.224, gateway 149.20.36.129. I'll have to change the VLAN at the same time, so we need to coordinate. ISC can make the change at any time. > We would appreciate having this completed by Jan 20th at the latest. > Leo Bicknell; E-mail: bicknell@isc.org, Phone: +1 650 423 1358

This was done a month or so ago.
Could we fix up the reverse DNS so that messages like this are more useful ? <nagios-sjc1> [10] geodns01.sj:Stage-Rsync_Mirror_Lag is 4CRITICAL: Mirrors CRITICAL - 149.20.36.135 : 169 minutes
135.36.20.149.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer isc-sfo2-01.mozilla.org. reverse-dns looks like it's fine. Must be how it's entered in the nagios test.
Yeah, nagios test had it hard-coded, I just fixed it.
Thanks Dave. Will that fix the 'No response from server' at https://nagios.mozilla.org/ftplag/ too ?
Nope, that's a different server than this one, and that's probably a real problem. File another bug please.
Depends on: 725520
