If an add-on has many preferences, it can be hard for users to find what they want to change.

It would be better if we could group preferences in different sections with different titles, like different HTML forms with different legends.
This is a limitation enforced by the addons manager, as it doesn't provide this option. In a future release of the SDK, there will be an "addon tab" api provided, which would probably cover your needs for this better.
