Build ID: 20111220165912
Steps to reproduce:
Created a new event covering several days with All day event checked
Actual results:
The event was created but the days it covered were no highlighted in the calendar. If I uncheck All day event the days are highlighted correctly.
Expected results:
The days covered by the event should have been shown in bold.

I assume you mean the the free-busy display in the mini-calendar in the left or right pane. If the day contains events marked as 'busy' the day number is shown in bold font.
By default all-day events are created as not-busy / free. Therefore the day is not marked bold.
Please retest but set Show As > Busy in the Options menu when creating the event.

Hi Stefan, thanks very much, that sorted it out. I didn't realise that option was available, so a red face :-} However, perhaps that option could be shown on the panel, rather than being a menu option?
Anyway, sorry to have troubled you.
