This is something I'd like to see, but don't expect.

Jetpack 1.4 changes the directory layout completely compared to Jetpack 1.3. There have been other similar changes since 1.0 as well that make the diff viewer useless for many upgrades between Jetpack versions. I can handle these fairly easily, but I'm the only one who can, which means that most non-trivial add-ons are going to wind up waiting for me to review them after they upgrade.

It would be nice if the diff viewer could handle tracking these kinds of restructurings. Perhaps someone from the Jetpack team could give us a simple algorithm? I should be able to handle the coding for this if we can work out how it should be done.
