User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:9.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0 Build ID: 20111222133207 Steps to reproduce: Steps to reproduce: 1. point your mouse on some element in firefox that have a tooltip (doesn't matter if it's a firefox control or site's content) (see http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/2290/firefoxbug1.jpg) 2. switch your gnome to the "activities" mode, see that the component is still "selected" (see http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/9636/firefoxbug2.jpg) 3. switch to some other desktop (see http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/9079/firefoxbug3.jpg) Actual results: tooltip is still there Expected results: no tooltip
Forgot to say: you should switch to the "activities" mode with a hotkey, not with your mouse, so that in the moment of switching the mouse was on the element with tooltip.
This is a window manager issue ("mutter" product in bugzilla.gnome.org) and not a Firefox issue.
