Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111220165912

Steps to reproduce:

Tap and hold on a link

Actual results:

Pop up appears with the message "Open Link in New Tab". User must then tap the message in order to open the new tab.

Expected results:

The message should still appear but require no user interaction.

It's almost impossible to press and hold a link by accident, so I see no reason why the user should have to confirm the new tab open as it unnecessarily adds to the number of taps.
This is not a popup, but is actually a context menu. Add-ons can add items to context menus too. We can't just assume a long tap on a link should open in a new tab.
