Matej, can you help us add a bit of copy to the Beta and Auora newsletter sign-ups that clarifies that the newsletter is only offered in English (at this time).

Current experience:

Challenge:

We want to gather the locale data during sign-up, but noticed that it currently looks like we're offering the newsletter in all of those translations.

Since we're allowing users to choose any or all of the newsletters from each of those pages, I'd recommend one blanket line rather than just mention Aurora on the Aurora page, etc. Here's what I'm thinking, to be placed between the country drop down menu and the newsletter checkboxes:

(Aurora and Beta newsletters are currently only available in English)


I also noticed something else. At one point LoMo, Slater and I talked about not using Final Release in user-facing communications anymore (the discussion culminating in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=679285#c38).

Could we change that checkbox so it reads Firefox instead?

Hey Steven - two changes here to the pages listed in Comment 0:

1. Add the following line of text between the country drop down menu and the newsletter checkboxes: "Aurora and Beta newsletters are currently only available in English"

2. Change the "Final Release" checkbox to simply "Firefox"
