Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird 9.0.1 DE, Mac OSX 10.7.2

write and send an email with an url as ipv6-address in the body

thunderbird  ipv6 web-address-test ...

1)  http://[2001:db8:1::2]
2)  http://2001:db8:1::2
----/----


Actual results:

1) is a correct  ipv6-url, but is shortened to http:///
<a href="http:///">http://</a>[2001:db8:1::2]

2) is a wrong ipv6-url and is correctly only text
http://2001:db8:1::2


Expected results:

1) is a correct url an should be a correct link
<a href="http://[2001:db8:1::2]">http://[2001:db8:1::2]</a>
