Actual results: Camino freezed almost completedly, I had to use the still working right-click upon the Menu (apple), to close an unresponding programme, ie Camin. Expected results: Normal close down of the session Surfing.
Not a security bug. How often can you reproduce this? Every time you close a window? > Camino freezed almost completedly What does "almost completely" mean? Which parts of Camino were still responding? Was the cursor not the spinning beachball?
Hi Stuart It happens a few weeks right now, and it is, not when closing every window, but when -as mentioned already-, when i close down camino as the programme. Almost completely : no part of C was still responding, except only of the trick to go to the menu-bar in apple(10.4) (udated maximally), and right-click - close down UNresponding progr. Hope I now have been concrete enough ! Hope that the root is to be found.. Regards Eelco
> it is, not when closing every window, but when -as mentioned > already-, when i close down camino as the programme You said "I had surfed and pressed the red button leftsideabove" which as far as I can tell is a description of closing a window. There is no red button anywhere that quits Camino. So which is it: did you close a window (maybe the last window?) with the red window close button, or did you you actually quit Camino (Camino > Quit Camino, dock menu > Quit, Command-Q)? > It happens a few weeks right now So this only happened once? In order to debug this we'd need to have a sample, which would require reproducing it.
(In reply to Stuart Morgan from comment #3) > > It happens a few weeks right now > > So this only happened once? If so, next time please get a sample while it is hung: http://caminobrowser.org/documentation/bugzilla/#hang
Ehmmm : what was sleepy with you dear Stuart, today ? I type : it's hanging frequently in a few weeks now, and you are typing back : -- ah : already answered. >>>>>>> It could be in the ADSL-Line t o o, but that's t o o. Camino isn't handling the clicking in the close screen button (red), any form well as it always has done before, and secondly : I indeed, then, do not use the red button for the screen, that was rightly vaguely typed in : but the whole further Report qualifies for that I chosed Close Camino, in the Title Bar of it. That's thus why I do suspect a trace of a bug, and its since a few weeks came. I am closing now the Report-making, Am wishing You Success with the finding the running Rabbit, wherever it could be. Regards, Eelco, Holland
(In reply to kboswachter from comment #5) > I type : it's hanging frequently in a few weeks now No, you said "It happens a few weeks right now" which isn't actually an English sentence. I was trying to guess what you actually meant. Nothing in the whole report up until comment 5 indicated that this had happened more than once. > I am closing now the Report-making, Am wishing You Success with the finding > the running Rabbit, wherever it could be. As I said in comments 3 and 4, we need a sample of this (following the instructions linked to in comment 4) to investigate further. If you aren't going to get a sample, then there's absolutely nothing we can do.
