Details

STR:
1. Load http://ybca.org/big_ideas
2. Click on the "WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?" banner.
3. A Flash video will pop up, obscuring the page.
4. Try entering some keyboard commands like CMD+W, CMD+Q, CMD+T, CMD+N, or PageDown/PageUp.

AR:
The keyboard commands are ignored!

ER:
The keyboard commands should be able to open tabs and windows or close windows and the app.

NOTES:
* Safari has the same keyboard problems, but Chrome does not! I tested Firefox 11 and 4; both versions were affected.
Duplicate of bug 78414?
Possibly related, but I don't think it is a duplicate. If you click some HTML text on the YBCA page to take focus away from the Flash video, the keyboard commands still do not respond.
