User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: I normally save all the downloads in the standard folder (downloads) but some sites are "special" and you can't download in the standard folder because: 1. The download has always the same name And you can't chose where to save the download because: 2. The download is triggered via javascript or other plugins (no context menu) One example is balsamiq (http://builds.balsamiq.com/b/mockups-web-demo/) There is an option in the configuration to change the download behavior and always ask where to save the file. But always choose where to save a file when 99% of the times is always in the same folder in annoying and also in 1% of the times have to open the options menu, switch the option, save the file, open the option menu again and switch the option back is also annoying. In the configuration panel the "Save file to" and the "Ask me always where to save the files" shouldn't be mutual exclusive but separate options, I should be able to have on the download dialog the option to save the file in the standard folder or to chose a new path and name.

Hey all,
This has been proposed nine years ago and still feels just as valid today: for many users, having the default option to save to a specific folder is good 99% of the time, but every once in a while you want to save somewhere else and it's unfortunate not to have a simple "save somewhere else" option straight from the download window.
Is there any attention paid to this? Seems like a very-low-hanging fruit.
Best,
Anfire
