User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: Looked at the following web page: http://www.stickam.com/mr70s Both in Firefox 9.0.1 and Chrome 16.0.912.75 Actual results: When displayed in Firefox, a section of the page was shifted upward and covered part of a chat window. The identical page displayed in Chrome displayed normally. Expected results: The page should display as it does in the Chrome browser and did so until the 9.0.1 updated happened.
The caveat to this is - this MAY BE an issue related to Flash. however, since there has not been a Flash update since FF was updated to 9.0 and 9.0.1, I suspect it is a Firefox issue.
This bug STILL EXISTS. It has been duplicated on version 11.0 with no add-ons and screen resolution down to 800x600. This obviously is a bug with the way FF interprets the code for the web page. All other browsers (IE9 and Chrome 17) interpret the page correctly.
This bug CONTINUES in Firefox 12. Same issues. Someone needs to look at this issue.
Cannot reproduce the problem in Firefox 12 on Fedora 16 at all (I use Flashblock but it does show placeholders). The layout is slightly wrong (one item in Playlist is shown in the next line, covering "Something you should know about me"), but that's not Firefox' fault.
Andre - I appreciate the feedback. So are you saying this is an HTML/XML related error? I guess I am trying to understand why Chrome would display the page properly and Firefox would not. Is it the way the code is being interpreted for each browser? The inconsistency in displaying the page in different browsers makes no sense to me.

Works for me using Windows 7 and today's Nightly, so I'll resolve it WFM. Please reopen if you can reproduce it with Firefox 18.0a1 Nightly.

Display of Sticam page using chrome 21. Playlist section is underneath main picture.
Attachment #658090 - Flags: review+
Since I do NOT have access to Firefox nightly, this is the display from Firefox 15. As you can see, the Playlist section infringes into the main picture. Therefore, there is an issue with the way the page is being interpreted by FF 15.

I want this bug reactivated. There is still a problem with how the page displays in FF 15. It boggles the mind how an obvious issue cannot be researched.

Nightly builds are free and don't require any special rights to be installed. You can select your OS from the link bellow and install it whenever you want. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/

Could you add a testcase if you can still reproduce?
