Hi Matej,

We're working on a very simple one-off email leading up to Valentine's Day.

Campaign goal: Provide Firefox users with a "gift" for V-day. The gift will be in the form of a valentine's persona.

We'll want a strong Headline and then some supporting copy. Carmen took a first pass.

The imagery we'll be working with:
- firefox costume holding a heart
- graphical representation of the persona

HEADLINE:

(Something that indicates we're giving them a special gift for Valentine's Day.)

COPY:
Since chocolates can melt, and flowers can fade away, we instead send this token of our love for Firefox users - a persona!

DEADLINE: Could we get back copy by next Monday?
I perhaps went a bit overboard with this one and wrote a poem. I also did a second version, mostly for l10n purposes, that's just a slight edit of what Carmen had. Let me know what you think.

HEADLINE:

Roses are red, Firefox is orange...

A Token of Our Love

A Special Valentine's Day Gift

We <3 Our Users

Happy Valentine's Day to Firefox Users Everywhere

COPY (en-US VERSION):

Since chocolates can melt
And flowers will wither
We searched for a gift
Far, wide, yon and hither

For users out there
From Maine to Barcelona
A token of love:
A Valentine's Persona

COPY (L10N VERSION):

Since chocolates can melt and flowers can fade away, we decided to send you this token of love for our users — a Valentine's Day Persona!

And in case you're wondering how that "roses are red" poem ends:

Roses are red
Firefox is orange
We love our users
But nothing rhymes with orange

Maybe as a tweet?

Roses are red / Firefox is orange / We love our users / But nothing rhymes with orange
We need Matej as a full time poet, obviously.
