RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 470347

People

(Reporter: oyiptong, Unassigned)

Details

On Mac OS X, Ctrl-a, Ctrl-e, Opt-f, Opt-b etc. are used to manipulate the cursor position in the focused "input box". When the "Find" toolbar is visible, Ctrl-a does not work as expected. Steps to reproduce: 1. hit Cmd-F to initiate page search 2. click on any input field, on a web page or even the search box or url bar (preferably with text inside, but you could enter the text at this moment) 3. hit Ctrl-a expected behavior: it should go at the beginning of the line actual behavior: it will highlight words that match the search term on the page
Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the long delay. I'm marking this as duplicate of bug 470347 even if that one is really old and I'm not sure of its state of art.
