The SM Donate page is a page on mozilla.org with some visual styling similar to seamonkey-project.org applied:

https://donate.mozilla.org/page/contribute/seamonkey

I don't know how the result page (after successful submit) looks like, but a request from KaiRo from last year suggests that it's currently not what we want (404 maybe?).

Chelsea Novak from the Mozilla Foundation directed us at the following page as an example landing page:

http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/openwebfund/thanks.html

I suggest we use that as a template for www.seamonkey-project.org/donate/thanks (or similar) but apply some changes:

* exclamation mark after "Thank You" (heading)
* s/Mozilla Open Web Fund/SeaMonkey/ [link -> /]
* suggested text:

Your donation will help the SeaMonkey project and its contributors. Interested in becoming a part of the SeaMonkey project? Here are some easy ways to get involved:

    * _Get involved_ with SeaMonkey [link -> /dev/get-involved]
    * Tell the world how much you love SeaMonkey and wear a _SeaMonkey shirt_ at an event [link -> shop]
    Introduce someone to _SeaMonkey_ [link -> /]

Suggestions for improvement welcome!

Once we have some consensus here I can create the page (on the staging website first), then contact Chelsea for enabling it as the landing page for SM Donate.

Well, at least it was. The above link currently redirects to:
https://sendto.mozilla.org/page/contribute/EOYFR2013-newdefault

Which has absolutely no styling or mentioning of SeaMonkey at all.
