See attached screenshot. It would be great to fix this, especially considering Wikipedia is one of our built-in search engines.

I think this is font-inflation issue. Changing font size to 'Tiny' draws a much better textbox.

This should be fixed by bug 706198, which disables inflation on mobile sites.
