The Mozilla Antarctica Community: going where no other community has ever gone before (and it's bloody freezing!)
We're planning on launching our website/blog on Feb 1 [1] and it would be great if we could have the blog aggregated to the planet. (And even greater if we could be added before then!)
Currently, the feed [2] has nothing in it. That's because the inaugural post is going to be posted at midnight on Feb 1. I hope this doesn't cause any problems.

Who will be posting to this blog, and are they from Antarctica?

Me, Leo, Debloper and Baptiste Denaeyer will post the entries to the blog. One of them, Baptiste, has been in the Antarctica for a quite long time, but the summer is ending right now and a major part of the population is leaving. There is nobody who lives in the Antarctica for more than a certain time, because the freezing temperatures make it impossible for humans to live permanently on that continent.
To answer your second question: A few people who actually live in the Antarctica are proof-reading and reviewing /everything/, including the static pages and the theme, so that we can make sure that everything is alright. During the next few weeks, we're going to contact even more stations and ask if some scientists could help us with the project and come up with new interesting topics for our future blog posts, so we except that soon, a big part of the content will be written by people who are in the Antarctica or came back from this cool place.
Just so you know: We were planning to launch the community tomorrow. If you want to review the current content too, feel free to go to the staging site: stage.mozilla-antarctica.org. But please keep in mind that we're still working on a few minor parts of the theme and revamping the pages and posts.
