User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111220165912

Steps to reproduce:

The images in the body of mail are not displayed.

Actual results:

A message appears : cid: 12345678-1234-... in place the image.

Expected results:

The images appears correctly in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook express, Gmail, ... but no in Thunderbird 9.0.1.

My option "mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image" is "false".

Why ? How to resolve it ?

Thanks a lot to investigate it.

BUT I THINK :
The content is not important because the message is displayed correctly on Outlook, gmail, ...

THE IMPORTANT IS :
Why Thunderbird 9.0.1 cannot display the images correctly LIKE Outlook, Gmail, ... ???

Where can we see cid: url which should be reslolved in mail data you provided?
cid: url use in mail is;
- multipart/related. Under it, next sub parts.
  - <img src="cid:xxx"> of html source in text/html part.
  - image data part with Content-ID: <xxx>
