User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: The images in the body of mail are not displayed. Actual results: A message appears : cid: 12345678-1234-... in place the image. Expected results: The images appears correctly in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook express, Gmail, ... but no in Thunderbird 9.0.1. My option "mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image" is "false". Why ? How to resolve it ? Thanks a lot to investigate it.

Correctly structured multiprt/related mail? Is Content-ID: corrctly specified for image/xxx part which corresponds to the cid; url? Is Content-Location: placed in text/html part? Is Content-Location: placed in image/xxx part in addition to Content-ID:?

Where can we see cid: url which should be reslolved in mail data you provided? cid: url use in mail is; - multipart/related. Under it, next sub parts. - <img src="cid:xxx"> of html source in text/html part. - image data part with Content-ID: <xxx> If you need to show long data to other people in bug at B.M.O., use "Add an attachment" link of bug at B.M.O., please.
