User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:13.0a1) Gecko/20120204 Firefox/13.0a1 Build ID: 20120204031137 Steps to reproduce: Given a set of five tabs: 1. I clicked one of the tabs in the middle, held the button, and moved the cursor left. 2. I clicked one of the tabs and dragged the cursor downwards (outside of the tab bar). Given two windows with tabs: 3. I clicked one of the tabs and dragged the cursor to the tab bar in the other window. Actual results: 1. Nothing. 2. Nothing. 3. Nothing. Expected results: 1. The tab should have swapped places with its left partner(s). 2. The tab should have detached from the window to form its own window. 3. The tab should have moved to the other window. If its parent window now had zero tabs, it should have been destroyed.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
Both of those options seem to fix the issue. I've pinned down the issue to the Torbutton addon v.1.4.5.1 and have since disabled it until it can be updated.
